1. What Information Do We Collect?
Personal Information You Disclose to Us
Chronicle collects personal information voluntarily provided during registration, purchases, support requests, account administration, and other interactions with the services.
- Names
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Mailing and billing addresses
- Job titles
- Usernames
- Passwords and authentication data
- Contact preferences
- Debit and credit card numbers
Sensitive Information. Chronicle does not process sensitive personal information.
Payment Data. Payment data needed to process purchases may be collected. Payment information is handled by Intuit Merchant Services. Their privacy notice is available at https://www.intuit.com/privacy/statement/.
Application Data. If Chronicle mobile applications are used, Chronicle may request device permissions such as location, camera, contacts, microphone, SMS messages, and storage when needed for application features.
Information Automatically Collected
Chronicle automatically collects certain device and usage information, including IP address, browser details, operating system, device characteristics, usage activity, and similar technical data. Chronicle may also use cookies and similar technologies.
Google API. Use of data received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Chronicle processes personal information to:
- Facilitate account creation and authentication
- Provide, improve, and administer services
- Communicate with customers
- Prevent fraud and protect security
- Identify usage trends and improve service quality

Chronicle processes personal information when there is a valid legal basis to do so, including customer consent, contract performance, legal compliance, protection of rights, and legitimate business interests.
If located in Canada, consent may be express or implied depending on applicable law. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
4. When and With Whom Do We Share Information?
Chronicle may share personal information in limited circumstances such as:
- Business transfers such as merger, sale, financing, or acquisition activity
- Use of service providers under contract
- Use of Google Maps Platform APIs where applicable
Chronicle states that it has not disclosed, sold, or shared personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve months and will not sell or share personal information of website visitors, users, or other consumers.
5. Do We Use Cookies and Tracking Technologies?
Chronicle may use cookies and similar tracking technologies such as web beacons and pixels to maintain service security, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save preferences, support basic site functions, and support analytics or advertising operations.
6. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
Personal information is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this notice unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. The policy states that information is not kept longer than three (3) months past account termination unless otherwise required.
7. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
Chronicle uses organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
8. Do We Collect Information From Minors?
Chronicle does not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age, or the equivalent age in the applicable jurisdiction. Concerns can be reported to support@gochronicle.com.
9. What Are Your Privacy Rights?
Depending on location, customers may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or transfer personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent.
Data subject requests can be submitted through the data subject access request form, by emailing support@gochronicle.com, or by contacting Chronicle directly.
10. Controls For Do-Not-Track Features
Because there is not currently a uniform standard for recognizing and implementing Do-Not-Track browser signals, Chronicle does not respond to DNT signals at this time.
11. Do United States Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?
Residents of certain US states may have rights to know whether data is processed, access personal data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain a copy of data, avoid discrimination for exercising rights, and opt out of certain profiling, advertising, or sale-related processing activities.
12. Gmail API Data Use
For Chronicle Gmail integration services, Chronicle does not use cookies or tracking technologies for advertising purposes and does not share or sell Gmail data for advertising, analytics, or unrelated purposes. Chronicle Mobile's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to Google's API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

Yes. Chronicle may update this notice as needed to stay compliant with relevant laws. Updated versions will be reflected by the revised date at the top of the notice.
