These Terms of Service are the legal terms that govern use of Chronicle services, websites, and applications. By using the services, customers agree to these terms.
Agreement To Our Legal Terms
These Legal Terms are between Chronicle Technologies Inc., doing business as Chrontech Inc., and each customer or entity using the services.
Chronicle is located at 231 E. Alessandro Blvd, Unit A-490, Riverside, CA 92508, United States. Contact options include phone at 8662476684 and email at support@gochronicle.com.
Chronicle operates https://gochronicle.com, the Chronicle Mobile app, and related products and services.
The services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old.

1. Our Services
Chronicle provides a platform that assists customers in documenting and managing on-premises jobs. Use of the services from outside applicable jurisdictions is at the customer’s own initiative and responsibility.
The services are not tailored for compliance with HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA, or other industry-specific regulatory frameworks.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
Our Intellectual Property
Chronicle owns or licenses the intellectual property in the services, including source code, databases, functionality, software, designs, text, graphics, photos, audio, video, trademarks, service marks, and logos.
Your Use of Our Services
Customers receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the services and print or download allowed content solely for internal business purposes, subject to compliance with these terms.
Unauthorized copying, reproduction, sale, licensing, distribution, or commercial exploitation is prohibited without prior written permission.
Your Submissions
Suggestions, comments, feedback, and similar submissions sent directly to Chronicle may be used by Chronicle without acknowledgment or compensation.
3. User Representations
By using the services, customers represent that:
- Registration information is true, accurate, current, and complete
- They will maintain and update that information as needed
- They have legal capacity to agree to the terms
- They are not minors in their jurisdiction
- They will not access the services through automated or non-human means
- They will not use the services for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Their use of the services will comply with applicable law
4. User Registration
Customers may be required to register. They are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality. Chronicle may remove, reclaim, or change usernames it finds inappropriate or objectionable.
5. Purchases and Payment
Accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal.
Customers agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information, and to update payment information as needed. Sales tax may be added where required. Payments are in US dollars.
Chronicle may refuse or limit orders, including orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.
6. Subscriptions
Billing and Renewal
Subscriptions continue and automatically renew unless canceled.
Free Trial
Chronicle offers a 7-day free trial to new users. The account is charged at the end of the trial based on the selected subscription.
Cancellation
All purchases are non-refundable. Customers can cancel at any time by logging into their account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term.
Fee Changes
Chronicle may change subscription fees and will communicate those changes in accordance with applicable law.
7. Software
Any software included with the services is provided under the applicable EULA, if any, or otherwise under a limited, revocable, personal, non-transferable license for use with Chronicle services.
8. Prohibited Activities
Customers may not misuse the services. Prohibited conduct includes, among other things:
- Scraping, data mining, or automated extraction of service data
- Attempting to obtain passwords or other sensitive account information
- Interfering with service security features
- Uploading malware, spam, or disruptive material
- Using the services unlawfully or contrary to regulations
- Impersonating another person or user
- Using the services to compete with Chronicle or for unauthorized commercial purposes
- Advertising or offering goods and services through the services
- Selling or transferring a user profile
9. User Generated Contributions
If contributions are submitted through the services, customers are responsible for ensuring those contributions are lawful, accurate, non-infringing, and not harmful, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
10. Contribution License
Chronicle may access, store, process, and use information and personal data customers provide, including customer choices and settings. Feedback may be used by Chronicle without compensation.
11. Mobile Application License
Customers using the Chronicle app receive a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to install and use the app on devices they own or control, subject to these terms.
12. Third-Party Websites and Content
The services may link to third-party websites or content. Chronicle does not investigate or monitor third-party content for accuracy, appropriateness, or completeness and is not responsible for third-party products, services, policies, or websites.
13. Services Management
Chronicle reserves the right to monitor the services, enforce these terms, limit access, remove burdensome content, and otherwise manage the services to protect rights and maintain proper operation.
14. Privacy Policy
Use of the services is also governed by Chronicle’s Privacy Policy. The services are hosted in the United States, and continued use from other regions constitutes consent to transfer and processing of personal data in the United States.
15. Term and Termination
These terms remain in effect while the services are used. Chronicle may deny access, terminate use, or delete accounts and content at any time, without warning, in its sole discretion, including for violations of these legal terms or applicable law.
16. Modifications and Interruptions
Chronicle may change, suspend, or discontinue the services at any time without notice and is not liable for resulting loss or inconvenience.
17. Governing Law
These legal terms and service use are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
18. Dispute Resolution
Informal Negotiations
The parties agree to try to resolve disputes informally for at least thirty (30) days before beginning arbitration.
Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, disputes are resolved by binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules, generally in Riverside, California, unless otherwise required by law.
Restrictions and Exceptions
Arbitration is limited to the dispute between the parties individually. Certain claims, such as intellectual property or injunctive relief claims, are excluded from arbitration.
19. Corrections
Chronicle may correct typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in service information at any time without prior notice.
20. Disclaimer
The services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Chronicle disclaims warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
21. Limitations of Liability
Chronicle and its directors, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, or loss of data. Liability is limited as described in the legal terms.
22. Indemnification
Customers agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Chronicle harmless from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from service use, breach of the legal terms, rights violations, or harmful acts toward other users.
23. User Data
Chronicle maintains data transmitted for service performance. Customers remain responsible for their transmitted data and waive claims arising from loss or corruption of that data.
24. Electronic Communications, Transactions, and Signatures
Electronic communications, signatures, contracts, notices, and records satisfy legal writing requirements. Customers consent to electronic delivery and transactions.
25. California Users and Residents
If a complaint is not resolved satisfactorily, California residents may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
26. Miscellaneous
These legal terms and any posted policies constitute the entire agreement between Chronicle and the customer. If any term is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
